This was not my idea, but unfortunately the warrior who found Mouse let the village children name her before she told me, and by then everyone was attached.

One would think that a warrior whose epithet comes from being mauled by wolves as a child would be more cautious.

As it is, she takes up half my bed and steals meat off people’s plates. Not a bad life for a wild creature.
