[Martin's day isn't going well. And he's shouting as loudly as Squalo had been on the first communication. He's also very clearly running.]
May day! May day may day may day! Oh, god! Oh, god! May day! There's- Drone. Electricity spikes. Oh, god! East jungle. Close to shore!
[His responses to things may be delayed depending on whether or not he can escape the thing.]

[Can't sound too concerned, after all! But he does follow it up after a few moments, at least.]
hey, can you see those mountains from where you are??

[There's no particular inflection. He doesn't even sound annoyed.]

okaaay well can you see what kind of lock the cell has?
not here

There are deadbolts on the cell door, but there's a keycard reader on the wall next to it. I can't tell if there's a physical lock to pick on the front of the door, as well. Working on a way to figure that out.

that's practically an insult ╮( ̄3 ̄)╭
so what do you have on you?
if you've still got the walkie talkie then i assume they didn't take all your shit

slip it through the bars above the deadbolt and try to catch the latch
and then you just kinda maneuver the other end of the shoelace around until you can pull it to the side and tug that sucker open
easy peasy

I'll let you know when I've checked the front.

even as a joke
but hey maybe i'll put in a good word for you with the ultimate initiative if your big nerd brain gets us out of here

[Unless the kid is making something up. That does seem to be his M.O. Although, he's being surprisingly helpful with his advice, even if it's couched in being a facetious little brat. Something to consider later.]

you seriously don't know???
[That gives him pause. What kind of person hasn't heard of Ultimates before? Does this guy live under a rock?
He can't help but think of the multiverse bullshit the sciencey guy was rambling about, but dismisses it. That's some sci-fi nonsense, and the alternate possibilities he can think of feel so much worse anyway.
But for now, redirection.]
lol jk
sheesh you take everything so seriously
anyway lemme know how the jailbreak attempts go!!
i do this kinda thing a lot and i'm super nice so i can give you more pointers

No physical locks. Everything is electronic. No hinges to try to remove. The door slides up into a slot in one piece. Multiple deadbolts along one side seem like they're all connected to an electronic key system. No weaknesses in the walls or bars. They're rusted, but not enough to break through. Tried calling out to the room, but nothing's come for me or changed.
I have a syringe. I'm going to try to hit the drones I can see on the pad with some toilet water. If I can't get out, I might be able to stop them from being problems for all of you if I can short-circuit them.

it'd be no fun if the mastermind was beaten so easily
anyway lemme know how that goes for you lol
[Hmm. A rescue may be necessary. Unfortunately, Kokichi's only got one idea of how to do that, and it'd be a gamble.]

I've shorted out one of the drones, I think.
I don't know if I'll be able to manage the same for the others, but I can try.
I'm going to try to pull the bars out.

i can't believe you actually did something useful lol
well useful to the rest of us anyway
i guess it doesn't do much for you since you're already stuck there
make sure you don't break *all* of them, what if they're your only hope for getting fed??

One parks in the docking station, another takes off.
I'll leave the one that's just gone out on.
But if the third one follows the same pattern, I think they're just fetch drones.
With the computer terminal, I'm assuming there's supposed to be someone here to tend to the detainees.
They just aren't anymore.
I doubt there's any food here.
The only water I have access to is tainted.
I know you're actually probably scared right now.
I am.
Please make sure you and the policeman you're with stay hidden from the drones.
I don't want anyone else stuck in this situation.
