The situation here is dire. Senku recently disappeared, as Zam did, and Squalo is dead. Aside from me, everyone remaining here is either seriously injured, a child, or both.

This king wants blood. If it comes to all-out war, we will not win without significant losses whether I'm alive or not. If I can buy the people here even a day, I have to do it.
