Turns out the locals are pretty chill, all things considered.
I've learned their language and they have accepted me as one of their own.
By which I mean I'm cooling my heels in one of their longhouses for the rest of the night after they explained their whole Lost-adjacent dogma to me.
And I learned some shit you folks will probably be interested to hear about, judging by the fat wad of nothing y'all were able to tell me.
Key takeaways:
One, this particular group of natives speaks Morse code.
Tongue clicks for dots and hums for dashes.
Might wanna brush up on it if you don't feel like getting speared should you have a run-in with them.
And two, the people responsible for whatever this is are somewhere to the southeast, presumably on another island.

They answered a pretty reasonable amount.
They said we'll talk more in the morning, so I got the sense they just want to take the night to discuss things among themselves.
Understandable enough when dealing with some unknown asshole in princely tights that just wandered into their village.
They even cooked me dinner so I'm hardly gonna complain.

Seems like the radios come from the Glencolans, which dovetails pretty neatly with that other people are saying about mystery callsigns and people on another island and whatnot.
And apparently we're not the first batch that have been dropped off here, but there was more communication with the last one.
They seemed surprised that everyone seems to know approximately jack shit about what's going on here.
The reason for the lack of explanation this time around is anyone's guess.
Some kind of error, a deliberate change of procedure, sheer fucking laziness, etc.

Sorry my loredump isn't more mindblowing, I guess.
But I've been here for a few fucking hours and it sounds like this is more than y'all have figured out in god knows how long you've been here, so maybe a little appreciation is in order.
