[ She can't exactly look it up, but it sounds right. ]

Corpses brought back to life? Is that what you mean?

No, no zombies, or walkers, that I know of.

Have you heard of the idea of alternate universes?

That's kind of what we're dealing with here.

I mean, for one thing, there was no zombie apocalypse in my world. And yours can't happen to it, because "zombie" is a very common word and a popular monster for the horror genre.

You're from Atlanta, Georgia? I'm from Gotham, New Jersey. It's not a local thing.

But you thought of him when I said "Gotham". Is Gotham fictional too?

Yeah. I mean...maybe there's a place called Gotham in New Jersey, but if there is, it's not a big city full of - of evil clowns and people who dress up like penguins and stuff.

Man, my universe *sucks!* What the hell?

I mean, I already knew that, but still.

[ She huffs a sigh, and moves on. She's not sure exactly how she feels about all of this, so she's just going to not worry about it. ]

That's crazy, that one world can be another world's fiction. It's not like it doesn't happen in stories, but I never really thought about it before.

[ Maybe everyone's fictional to someone, and you just don't know who yet. It's bizarre to think of. ]

This is actually pretty big for her. She's having a hard time with the, uh, let's call it a paradigm shift. For her this is downright friendly.
