Much as I hate to state the obvious, circumstances compel me to say: do not seek out the cabin. Hell, I'll say it twice: do not seek out the fucking cabin. You find yourself in an area suspiciously quiet and bereft of animal activity, turn around and go back the way you came.

Yasushi Wakabayashi invented this style, or at least is credited with it. They're called kaomoji (it means "face characters). I don't know about the western emoji/emoticons though.

Don't eat a whole plant I guess. But I had aloe gel drinks and stuff growing up without issue. Some of the gel won't hurt you if you really need some hydration. Split the leaves open and scrape the gel out. That's the part I mean, not the entire leaf.
