[ He thinks to type the rest out—some semblance of a record, something for people to refer back to for the while it's around—but five minutes punching little keys and he can't take it anymore. So his voice returns, matter-of-fact. ]

Officer de Guzman's dead. [ If anyone was hoping for a eulogy, it's not fucking happening. ] Took an arrow to the shoulder then was executed, from the sound of it, likely with his own firearm. He was in the region I just described, about a kilometer away from a wood cabin with no defenses or occupants he could discern. Guessing he walked into some kind of a trap. [ He concludes, irritation seeping into his voice. ]

Much as I hate to state the obvious, circumstances compel me to say: do not seek out the cabin. Hell, I'll say it twice: do not seek out the fucking cabin. You find yourself in an area suspiciously quiet and bereft of animal activity, turn around and go back the way you came.

The individual who killed him had a message for us. It follows.

[ After a short delay: ] The next animal I find here will die a much slower death. Tell your friends for me.

You wanna know something else weird, man? I had this phone with me when I first arrived. Time said 4:30 pm. That was the time it was right before I woke up here. Back home. You know?

Eventually the battery died so I ditched it. The kid took it. Time said something else by the time it died. But when I woke up, I had it again. Battery on. Time said 4:30 pm. Like it did when I first got here. Probably not important, but creepy!

Serial number...? I'd ask if you were a secret agent, but I don't think those are "manufactured". Are you telling me that you're a robot? [ This is SO cool. He's never gotten to talk to a robot before!!! It almost makes up for being shot in the head. Almost. ]

I think all of these details could be important, no matter how insignificant they may seem on the surface. They could help us figure out what exactly we're dealing with here. When I first woke up on the beach I found some nickels with the dates 2033, 2037, 2040, 2060, 2063, 2069, and 2074 on them. No way of telling whether they originate from this world, but if they do, that might give us some indication of the year.

Nothing as interesting as a secret agent I'm afraid, I consider myself more of a musician. [ Just not going to mention his former profession right now... Humans had forced him to do it, anyway. Creating and playing music is what he chose for himself. ] And you're close. An android.

Wish there was a way to know if it came from whoever set this shit up in the first place, or someone brought here from outside like we were. Could prove interesting, if nothing else. [ He thinks about it; considers. ]

Do you know if anyone is compiling a list of information like this? That could be useful along with the map. Though maybe safer to do it off-radio since we don't know who else is listening in.

[ K figures he can just memorise any information he learns, but a written log that everyone can contribute to in person might be good, especially for any newbies who might show up... The only major flaw is that so much relies on other people being willing to help and share and not lie. ]

The piano mainly and I do. How about you? Play anything? What sort of music is your favourite? But I'm sadly lacking in the eye lasers department. Since waking up here I've actually noticed I'm... different. Inexplicably weaker than I should be, and require sustenance in a way I never did before. Have you been affected like this? Senku and Randvi mentioned they were missing some items but haven't experienced physiological changes like this. I wonder if it's only me. [ But at least K'll have confirmation he's not alone in about a day when Dirk will mention he's lost all his powers too. ]

Probably a lot of people! Are they willing to come forward and tell us about it? That's the million dollar question.

[ Lalo considers K's statement carefully. It makes sense, if K is an android, that he would have abilities beyond the human (although Lalo is terribly disappointed by the lack of eye lasers). He wonders what it might be like to have abilities like that, and then to suddenly wake up with them gone. For Lalo, it's a rare attempt to consider somebody else's perspective from someone who usually doesn't bother. Feel special, K. ]

Me? No. Just a baseline human, I'm afraid. :( I have everything on me that I should have arrived with, I think. It's possible I suffered a head injury before I woke up and don't remember! How would we know?

What did Randvi and Senku find missing from their person? Squachito [ he means Squalo ] said he was missing his sword. Weird, considering they let me keep my gun.

I'm afraid I don't play anything! But I have the utmost respect for anyone who can play an instrument. I like Mexican pop music the best! Mexico is my home, if you've never heard about it. It has the best music.
