Did one of you write an SOS in the sand after waking up here? Just curious, because if not, that gives me other questions to answer.

It's still here is all. If it hadn't been someone we'd already heard on the network I would wonder what happened to whoever put it here.

Whoever put us here sure isn't gonna send a rescue, but someone might still fly overhead. Thought it was worth a try anyway.

They might if this were a regular shipwreck or something. When I first woke up here I thought it was a regular island I had crash landed on, but now I'm not so sure it's a regular anything. They might have the airspace defended in a way no one can get here. But there's still a chance that someone could fly over and see it.

Yeah shit just keeps getting weirder but it's not like they gave us a brochure when we first ate sand here.

Would make sense if they have either defenses or camouflage. Sucks for us though

My current theory is defenses of some sort. This network has no outgoing frequencies, no way to activate any that I've found. If they can close that off and trap us here, who knows? They might have the island in an area they've got defended with things we can't see from the ground.

Or it could a combo of both.

Could just be an isolated network or a jamming signal, no? I don't really know much about that stuff, we usually had a dedicated person on the team.

Curious what would happen if somebody just built a raft and sailed out. Maybe I'll try that later

But defenses? I wouldn't put it past whoever set this place up to have some sort of defenses set up.

I bet they planned for something like that but I absolutely want to know what you find if you do that. There's nothing within obvious swimming distance, but on a raft or makeshift boat, maybe you could get far away? Wonder how far you'd get before that signal on the radio was gone.
